A little gift for you...

I'm really proud to share this with you. In fact, I'm practically bursting with parental pride over this.

Over the past few years, Matthew has been developing into quite the artist. He really enjoys being creative with his hands, whether it's using them to draw, sculpt or even do the technical things behind the stage. I've been so pleased to see him use his talents so eagerly, and was happy that he used his drawing talent to enter an annual Holiday Card contest held by the Plano School District.

Long story short, his card design didn't win the contest, but it was chosen as one of the middle school finalists. And as a finalist, the card is featured on display in the district's office and also on the district's website.
